Moving tote rental questions, answered straight.
Plan on 8 to 10 for a kitchen, 6 to 8 per bedroom, 6 to 8 for a living room, 2 to 3 per bathroom, 6 for an office or den, and 10 or more for a garage or basement. Our packages are sized by home: 25 totes for a 1 bedroom, 35 for a 2 bedroom, 50 for a 3 bedroom. If you run short, extra totes are $4 each.
Yes. Plastic moving boxes, moving bins, moving crates, reusable moving boxes: different names for the same thing. Ours are 27 x 17 x 12 inch totes with attached lids that stack and roll on a dolly. We call them totes.
Each tote is 27 x 17 x 12 inches, about 2.5 cubic feet. That is roughly a medium cardboard box and a half. Think a full set of dishes wrapped in paper, a shelf and a half of books, or a dresser drawer of clothes. Keep each tote under 50 pounds.
Online booking needs 7 days notice. Moving sooner than that? Contact us. If the totes and a delivery slot are free, we will make it work.
Yes. Add up to 4 extra weeks when you book, or reply to your confirmation any time before pickup. Each extra week is priced per package and listed on the packages page.
No, as long as there is a covered spot like a porch or garage where we can leave or collect the totes. Tell us where in the booking notes. We let you know when we are on the way and again when the job is done.
Every tote is washed, sanitized, and dried after each rental, then inspected before it goes back out.
Normal wear is on us. A lost or damaged tote is $12, a lost dolly is $25, and totes returned dirty are $2 each for cleaning. Anything owed comes out of your $60 refundable deposit, and the rest goes back to you.
Yes. We bring the totes to your door, stairs included. Mention the floor and whether there is an elevator in the booking notes so we plan the right amount of time.
Not right now. Delivery and pickup are free inside our zone, so it costs you nothing to let us do the lifting.
Yes. We have three office packages, from 30 totes for 5 to 10 desks up to 100 totes for 20 to 40 desks. Bigger than that? Contact us and we will put together a number.
Cancel 48 hours or more before your delivery window for a full refund. Inside 48 hours, get in touch and we will do our best to move your date instead.
By card, online. Request your booking here, we confirm the date within 24 hours on weekdays or 48 hours on weekends, and then we send you a secure payment link. Nothing is charged until we confirm.
No. We're ROC Tote & Go. Flat package rates, free delivery and pickup, and you book online instead of waiting on a quote.
